- What is the reality of sufferings and difficulties and their causes?
Worldly sufferings and difficulties are an inevitable part of life and a test from Allah. They range from minor problems to life-threatening diseases. Such trials, which cause pain and trouble for the believer, are also a source of many blessings and rewards.
The difference between the trial of a believer and an unbeliever:
In the eyes of the unbeliever, suffering is only an uncomfortable thing, while for the believer, it is a golden opportunity to strengthen his relationship with Allah Almighty. If a believer faces such incidents with patience and tolerance, then Allah is infinitely merciful; He bestows such an incalculable reward. He showers his blessings on him. As said:
We will certainly test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives.
And fruits, and give good tidings to the patient ones who, when a calamity befalls them, say, “Indeed, we are
To Allah belongs, and to Him we will return. These are blessings from their Lord and mercy, and it is they who are guided.) [Al-Baqarah: 2/155-157]
And We will surely test you in one way or another, with fear of the enemy, with hunger, with lack of wealth and life and fruits, and give glad tidings to those who are patient. To whom, whenever any trouble comes, they say that we are the property of Allah and to Him we shall return. Upon them are the blessings and mercies of their Lord, and it is they who are guided.” On the contrary, woe is indeed to the unbelievers, for theirs is in suffering and hardship.
Being patient does not bring them any favors in this world or in the hereafter
It will prove to be a source of good, because their patience is like a believer's seeking God's pleasure
It doesn't matter. As Allah says:
And do not become weak in seeking the people, if you are suffering, for they are suffering as you are suffering, and you are hoping from God what they do not hope for, and God is All-Knowing, Judge. Yum)
[An-Nisa: 104/4]
Don't give up on chasing these people. If you feel discomfort, they also feel discomfort like you, and you have hopes from Allah that they do not have in hope, and Allah is Wise and Wise.
Therefore, to show impatience and intolerance when sufferings and difficulties arise
One should give proof of being patient and grateful, because the proper behavior of patience and tolerance is and
The right attitude makes every kind of trouble a means of attaining the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.
Complete faith in Allah's judgment:
It is an essential part of the believer's faith that he has complete faith that every
What Allah has chosen for him, be it happiness or sorrow, good or bad, hardship.
Whether it is bad or bad, happy or sad, all are for his benefit.
Allah's ways of forgiveness
((It is astonishing for the believer that God does not decree anything for him unless it is good for him, and not
That is for no one except the believer.)
The case of the believer is also surprising (because) whatever Allah decides for him
He says that he is a cause of good and well-being for him, and this honor is excepted
A Muslim should submit to every decision of Allah and accept it with joy, because only Allah knows in what work it will benefit him. And there is goodness. Therefore, seeing this apparent pain or loss in a work, one should not commit disapproval of Allah's decision, it is possible that there are benefits and goodness hidden in it.
As Allah Ta'ala says:
Perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you, and perhaps you love a thing and it is evil.
And God knows, while you do not know.) [Al-Baqarah: 2/216]
It is possible that you dislike something and in fact it is better for you and this
It is also possible for you to like something even though it is bad for you, true knowledge of Allah
It belongs to Allah, you are simply ignorant.
Therefore, a Muslim should have good hope from Allah Ta'ala at all times, implement His orders in all aspects of life, and consider His decision as the final letter.
It should be accepted.
Test according to ability:
Allah Ta'ala has written as many troubles and hardships for every human being as his ability and strength of faith. It would be unfair if everyone were tried with the same ordeal and punished in the same way for failure, because some people are more capable of patience than others. But the perfection of Allah's justice, compassion and kindness is that He tests every human being according to his ability. As Allah says:
God does not burden a soul beyond its capacity; it is for it what it has earned and upon it is what it has earned.)
[Al-Baqarah: 286/2]
Allah Ta'ala does not afflict a soul beyond its strength, for what it does good, it will be rewarded, and for what it does evil, it will be punished.
That will be it.
According to this just law of Allah Almighty, the scholars have declared patience as a duty, because when it is determined that accidents affect a person according to his ability, then it is necessary to endure these sufferings and difficulties. This person must have the ability to do it.
Expressing natural grief is not prohibited:
The above verse proves that every human being has the ability to endure suffering and difficulties, so it is absolutely forbidden to show impatience and cry during any illness, suffering, pain, trouble or trouble. However, the grief that is expressed due to natural love is not forbidden, nor does Allah Ta'ala condemn such matters that are not in the power and control of man. For example, one cannot control one's tears and heart's emotions. Or on the loss of something or on the death of a loved one, a person becomes very sad and his
If the eye becomes watery, it is not sinful. The only thing that is reprehensible is that people start wailing and wailing and uttering such words with their tongues that cause the displeasure of Allah.
Sayyidna Saad bin Ubadah (peace be upon him) was seriously ill, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took him to visit him. Seeing them in pain, we cried out of love. Seeing the manner of Allah's forgiveness towards you, the companions of Allah were also overwhelmed. Then you may we said: (Inna Allah does not punish with tears of the eye nor with sorrow of the heart, but He punishes
By this or have mercy on this). Indeed, Allah Ta'ala does not punish for tears in the eye and sadness in the heart, rather He punishes because of it (tongue) or shows mercy because of it.
what happens; He will be:
Allah Ta'ala has written down all the affairs and matters that take place from the first day to the Day of Judgment. Sustenance, age, children, livelihood, actions, etc. All these are fifty thousand from the birth of the creature
Filed years ago. The Holy Prophet Muslim said:
For fifty thousand years.
Allah Ta'ala has determined the destinies of the creatures fifty thousand since the birth of the earth and the sky
It has been written years ago.
Similarly, every accident and trouble; What a person suffers from, Allah Ta'ala has also done it
It is already written in destiny. Allah the Exalted says: No calamity befalls you on the earth, nor in yourselves, except in the books of
Before We bring it to light, that is easy for God.” [Al-Hadid: 22/57]
Whatever trouble there is in the earth, especially in relation to your lives, we have recorded it in a special book (i.e. Loh Mahfooz) before we created it.
I had left writing, surely this task is very easy for Allah Ta'ala."
Sahih Al-Bukhari 1304 - Sahih Muslim: 924.
Sahih Muslim: 2653.
Therefore, every trial, trouble and trouble should be accepted by accepting Allah's decision and words of displeasure and ungratefulness should not be paid with the tongue.
